Next weekend- Mya's birthday then Matoaca Prom with church friends & another birthday party for Mya
Weekend after- Just Jewelry Grand-Opening & Mother's Day
Weekend after that- Girls Gymboree for church (Mya is old enough to go!!)
Weekend after THAT- Hosting a Just Jewelry party for work friend. :)
Whew! But at least its all exciting stuff :) I will have lots of updates! So stay posted...
Actually, I used to think leaders had to be bold and outgoing. But actually, this is the world's standard for a leader. Leadership is about being part of a team, it is not a dictatorship. I have come to realize that leaders are those who have integrity and that can set a good example for others. God has shown me that you have to lead with your life.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way at times, and wish I was more outgoing than I am. But then again, I would be "trying" to be someone I wasn't. God just wants us to be who He has called us to be. Real leaders are those who are teachable, humble, and willing to follow. God chose the 12 disciples to be his leaders in sharing the gospel, and all they had to do was be willing to give up their lives and follow Him. So be encouraged that you may not feel like a leader according to the world's standard, but you are a leader according to God's standard!
