I could love this!

Officially my 2nd blog, already! Two blogs... one day. Yikes!

A friend from work, Lauryn Galloway (whom I adore!) has turned me towards blogging and although I dont hold too much free time in my hands, this could work out! I am enjoying it. Maybe a little too much. It's one of those things that when something happens, I am going to say to myself, "I have to blog about that!" So dont feel obligated to read all. You could get bored.

So let me explain the title of my blog page
(which is "Snow, Fireflies & Hair-bows")

Snow- As you know, I am a teenage mother, therefore I gave away my purity before God had desired it to be given. Eric and Leslie Ludy wrote a book called "When God Writes Your Love Story" (amazing!) and in it, Leslie says that even though some have made mistakes, we can be washed "White as Snow," through Jesus. She even has a song about it, which is beautiful. I loved their book so much that I order 3 different books from them. They are so good, especially for single girls! You should check out their website- www.setapartgirl.com where you can order this book and many others that speak straight to your heart.

Fireflies- There is a song from Faith Hill called "Fireflies" and I love it. It reminds me of being a little girl and being so innocent.

"Before i grew up i heard you whisper so loud
'life is hard, and so is love, child, believe in all these things'
I found mayonnaise bottles and poked holes on top
To capture tinkerbell
And they were just fireflies to the untrained eye
But i could always tell"

Hair-bows- Who doesn't love hair-bows?
Having a little girl is so much fun!

  1. I love your blog Ashley. I'm very proud of you for what a great momma you are. You are deffinitly a good example for what to do after you have made the boo boo of getting pregnant at a young age. I know it is a hard road, but keeping God first makes it easier. His Grace is sufficient. Mya is such a sweet, beautiful little girl. You are doing a great job. I'd be proud to call you my daughter. You keep up the great work. God bless you sweetheart. I look forward to reading your future blog posts. I am an "addicted" blogger too. I have had my blog since February of 2008. I enjoy it a lot. I too experience things and my first thought is, "I have to blog about this". Keep it up girl!
