Mya's First week in Lynchburg!

Mya has been such a trooper this past week! She loves her new daycare. It's a smaller daycare so, they only have about 8 kids altogether (which I love). Tuesday, her second day, her teacher told me that Mya acts like she has been here forever. She said she is doing SO well. Everyday that we leave, all the kids run up and cover Mya with "goodbyes" and kisses! It's really cute!

We are slowly learning the rules of the house. As I become more comfortable with all the responsibility, she is testing her boundaries for sure! I am a neat freak so I have learned patience with the fact that she IS 3 years old, and she is going to make a mess. But she also has done a good job cleaning up!

Everyday this week, literally, we have watched "The Chronicles of Narnia." To my favor, its a longer movie, so I can get some homework done. She is really sweet about me doing my homework. As long as I sit on the couch with her, I can do my homework. It's worked so far!

Last night, she had a little runny nose, and didn't sleep too well. But today she has been running around like her usual self. :)

Yesterday we had our first snow in Lynchburg and here she is admiring it from our apartment window!

Her most famous sayings this week:

• After singing the "Dora the Explorer" song, she says, "I want to call Dora, do you have her number?"
• Randomly says "Cabs are here."
• She puts some big sunglasses on and I told her she looked like a bug and she said, "I don't look like a bug! Do bugs have glasses? No."

Big Girl!

Monday was Mya's first day of daycare! And I am SO proud of her! She got a good report and last night she was in such a good mood. I think this is going to be SO great for her. She didn't like the idea too much at first but once we put her Princess backpack on and talked a little bit, she perked up and said she wanted to go back. I'm so excited for her!! :) Proud of my little miss!

She told me that she was going to walk in the classroom and do this face...

Thankfully, she didn't. :)

Mya Remedy

Lotion heals everything- she told me she "broke her tummy" today

and cried for lotion to make it feel better.

Lotion also heals things like bug bites and bruises.

Oh, and she also squirts lotion in a bowl to make "cheesecake."

Delicious medicine, who knew?

If your pillow is ever "too hot"...

just turn it to the other side.

Makes it ALL better!

She wakes up just to tell me her pillow is hot

and the only right answer I can give is for her to turn it over-

then she is fine

Mya Moment

Today as we were getting out of the car, Mya let out a belch..

and she exclaimed,

"Mommy, I just farted in my mouth!"

And walked on like nothing ever happened.

My 3 year old Princess

Today we had our birthday party at my Mawmaw's house for Mya. It was "Princess" themed and was very fun! Mya & I have wonderful friends and family in our lives :) Thanks to everyone who came! We love you!

And... us singing "Happy Birthday" to Mya :)

Before Bed-Time fun with Mya...

She must be CRAZY!

Pawpaw came to me and said "You need to get Mya's head checked, she must be crazy. She is eating grapefruit like its nothing without even making a face!" She loved it! Ate a whole plateful.

Dialogue of the Day

"Mya, put the chair back under the table;

Mya, stop eating all the grapes;

Mya, put the remote down;

Mya, give me back my phone;

Mya, go play with your toys;

Mya, dont take the DVDs out of the case;

Mya, leave Mommy's make-up alone;

Mya, put the remote down again;

Mya, you need to go night night;

Mya, your driving me crazy;

Mya, again... the remote."

Despite all... we made delich brownies.

Last night, 30 minutes after laying her down to sleep,

she walks up to my bed,

"Mommy, I got a burger. I show you. In my nose."

I tell her we will pick her burgers in the morning.

"Yucky, yucky, yucky..." as she walks back to bed.

Please Mommy...

Last night as me, Mawmaw & Mya were sitting down at the table,

eating eggs and watching TV,

Mya says "Cute little boys" out of nowhere.

She saw a couple teenage guys on a commercial, and I said

"No, Mya... you dont need to look at boys, they are bad."

And she said, "Please mommy."

FIRST PONYTAIL!

So, I started playing with Mya's hair last night and I realized that I could put it in a little Pony Tail! Not a very thick one, but its so cute!! I'm so lucky to have a girly girl! She's perfect for me :)
